TGIF and PV Weekend

No WI on PV days:) (Friday thru Sunday Post)

Hey Gang, has been pretty hectic here, weekends always are.  I've stayed on plan and am doing well.  I left work early Friday because lil one was sick and we were getting yet ANOTHER snow storm.  Wakefield MA got 17 inches!

And Sunday up by 6 AM to get some "me" time before lil ones 8 AM soccer practice, well that's the first of the day.  LOL she isn't going to like me much, over three hours of soccer stuffs!

Friday Night we roasted some asparagus and parsnips (and potatoes for others in family) and OMG the veggies were SO good.  Everyone loved the parsnips, so of course I had to go to store and buy some more - YAY!

I'm debating if I will weigh in tomorrow morning or wait until Tuesday or if I should just do a weekly WI - like on Thursdays, the last day of the PP for the week.  Who knows.

Off to make breakfast for the family before we get crazy running all over the place today.  Take care all!  T

This morning was last PT session before my Dr appt on Monday. I CANNOT wait to get this heavy unattractive boot OFF!

I ate a ton for breakfast, the bad thing about waiting to eat until after I get to the office, especially on PT days.  By the time I got home, I was just bushed and not even the least bit hungry.  But it looked really good (hubby and lil one mixed it up) and it tasted really good, but still not hungry enough for me to eat a whole plate of it.

We are having yet another snow storm!  Not sure school will even be open tomorrow for the lil one, so I may get a day off!  Woo hoo. LOL

I didn't have my oat bran today *gasp*!  And I'm too tired tonight to mess with making a cookie lol.  Will make sure to remember for my yogurt tomorrow.

Night all!

Woot woot, under 238 again!  OK yeah I know only .2....but that does add up!  Very motivating to see the scale dropping.  I was a coffee fiend today, couldn't get enough, but the Starbucks coffee finally hit the spot, yum!

Gonna do a bit of Wii this weekend and really test out my ankle, I kinda want to know how it is truly feeling when I work it before my appt on Monday, so maybe I can have a realistic idea how its going to feel after the boot.   But really looking forward to this darn winter to be over so that the hubby and I can start walking again.  I loved the few minutes with him on those walks last year, it sometimes felt like a mini date!

The loss doesn't seem like that much when I look at it like just since January.  My husband and I were talking about my highest weight when we went to see my brother and mom in Arizona April 2011...I clocked in around 265 then (maybe a bit more because I stopped weighing myself for a while, sad huh?!?!).  And when my brother came to Boston to visit last spring (2012), I clocked in close to that at 260ish, maybe a few pounds less (I didn't note it in the log below, which is why it doesn't show it....nice lying to oneself heh?!!?).  So if we look at the big picture I'm def down some significant weight, and I have to be proud of that. Acknowledge it and use it to motivate me to keep going forward.

See one year dieting on a whole since last March.  I love the dramatic fall in January when I started the Dukan.

Last December, I went to my doctors for my annual and she basically said you are at a scary weight and your life is just going to get harder if you don't do something about it.  Yikes!  She gave me a very small goal of losing 7 lbs by April.  Her office scale had me at 253 then.  I'm pretty confident that she will be impressed when I go back April 4th.  I'm hoping for another 10 lb loss before then.  Which I think is completely manageable since the PT guy def thinks my boot will be coming off Monday!  So I will be given green light (I hope) to start adding more activity to my schedule.  That will surely help the weight loss!

So that is my mini goal.  I have an in-between goal too.  My mom and her new husband are coming to visit in July.  I don't think it is unreasonable to be at least below 210 by then.  Ultimately, I would love to be in onederland, but will take happily anything under 210!  LOL

Food choices were great today.  I haven't had anytime to bake the oat bran cookies, so have just been adding the oat bran to my yogurt.  It isn't bad like that, but I do prefer the cookie ;p

Perfect day staying on plan.  Weigh in Tuesday morning showed a drop to 238!  So proof that I can eat a lot on this diet ( I had THREE pork chops last night!) and still lose weight.  Gonna be another good day, PT this morning and I'm going to work hard and maybe burn a few extra calories and eat well.
PS I did add a lot of the fiber solution to my coffees and oat bran for my yogurt.  I believe this is a huge help in the tummy area!

I'm baaaack

CW 238.8

Ok folks, yes indeed I fell off the wagon and ate whatever the hell I wanted and drank what I wanted and did what I wanted.  I decided to get back to it on Saturday and did PP on Saturday and Sunday.  This mornings weigh in shows not that bad of a weight.  Almost to my lowest on this diet of 237.4.  I'm going back to my old schedule of M-TH as PP days and F-Sun as PV days.  I think I am refreshed and reinvigorated to make this happen!  Will post food stats etc later this evening.

PS I'm still in the damn boot for my Achilles tendinitis!  I go back next Monday for a check up, and I have been doing PT twice a week.  Which, I didn't really think it would do anything but I feel like I'm mildly optimistic that I'm def on the road to recovery.  My hesitation is that I have been in this boot constantly, so real test will be when I'm on my ankle all day, will it hurt?!

Take care all and thanks for hanging with me!
